Dale Earnhardt - In The Sky Over Daytona

I am vacationing in Florida from Los Angeles.  While driving south on A1A in Daytona Beach, just a few miles north of Ponce Inlet, I spotted the Titan rocket launch from Cape Canaveral.  I snapped a quick picture of the vapor trail at 4:21 PM.

Fifteen minutes later I was photographing the lighthouse at Ponce Inlet.  That's when I spotted a giant "3" in the sky.  Most of the vapor trail from the rocket had dissipated and only the "3" remained; a perfectly formed "3."  I shot the first photo of the"3" at 4:36 PM.
